5 Apps to Make Money for Resellers

What apps do you use? In this post I'll share what apps I've used to make money reselling as well as some other platforms you haven't heard of.

Vinted

Their mobil app was launched in 2012 and has 25 million users. This was the first reselling app I ever downloaded, back in 2014.

 Depop

i've been selling on this app on and off for three years. It's users are next gen, with a flair of indie designers and artisians. It was founded in 2011 by the cofounder of PIG magazine, Simon who originally had the app so people could buy featured items modeld in the magazine, but he realized  the potential and created a reselling platform that looks like Instagram. There are 21 million users who have a passion for fashion and I'm happy with my sales there.

Poshmark

i had this app and got offers but disliked the userface so much I never bothered. Clunky, but undeniably boasts 60 million users since opening in 2011. (which is astounding since a Forbes article in 2018 claimes 40 million users.)

Mercari

i was told about mercari years ago but the demographic detered me. Iwish  i had started sooner. Sell men, women, kids, appliances, and much more.

ThredUp

I've heard of this for a long time and will be trying it soon because you send a box to them and they do the work for you. Some resellers will buy boxes from ThredUp to resell.

I wanted to keep this post to apps I've used or done my research. Maybe someday I'll find myself on other platforms: Ebay, Tradsey, Grailed, OfferUp, The Real Real, or Kidizen. And those are just the ones I've heard!!
