 Can I make more than I did last week? My first week of June, I made $34.62 . Last week, I made $30.67.  This item sold quickly after listing. It was a Cinch pullover , I took an offer for $9. This was free from the Lost and Found. Buyer paid shipping. My profit was $7.12. White Oleander sold for $8. I did put Free Shipping recently to move older inventory out. I listed this a few months ago, this will ship for $4.35 and I am left over with a profit of $2.12. I am a little sad this one sold, I wanted to keep it for myself or at least get more money. It has a handmade stamp of 83' at the bottom - it's a ceramic ducks in a row figurine. "Get your ducks in a row" is a cute saying. I paid .25 three years ago. It's been sitting in my shop for a few months, it sold for an offer on Depop of $5. Shipping was $4.31. My profit was $5.34.  Can I make more than the week before? Remember I made __ in the month of May 2023.  One of the books that sold was from my Goodwill  Trip on May 1st. I've already made my money back so it's nice seeing the profit from that haul.   I got a bundle on Depop, that's a good start! On Depop, I sold Detective Arthur on the Scent for $7, a teddy bear book for $2.95, and Out here at the front, The World War 1 letters for $10.50. I have Free Shipping and a discount running in my Depop store right now to generate sales. The total price was $20.45, the Depop fee was 2.05. My total was $18.40. Shipping cost was $4.35. I also had to buy a polymailer, that was $1.75. My profit was $12.30. the two books were free, and this detective book was from the Goodwill haul, so it's 100% profit.  Everything that sold was free, even though only 3 items sold. I made a total of $34.62 this week June 1-7. That's too low for me, at the VERY minimum $80 /week is needed.  June 1st, sold a Large Mens Texas flag swim trunks board shorts. buyer paid $10 plus shipping. my earnings were $8.92 June 4th, sold Poems of Greece and Rome. These books are worth double what I sold them for: $20. buyer paid shipping. These were free but have sat in my shop for five months. My profit was $16.77 June 4th, sold Hogwarts sweater and books: the Hogwarts sweater was $7 and the books were $2.92. My profit was only $8.93 - but these items were sourced from the lost and found at school, and a free library sale from 3 years ago. 

 How do I grow this side hustle to a full-time job? In the month of May, I made a total profit of $96.87, working less than 6 hours total on my shop each week and not sourcing.  At the end of every month I do a review of how I did that previous month.  This is also the best time to set goals for the new month.  I need this to be my best sales month.  It's the last month of the second quarter! 😱 I sell media online, but I am slowly branching out to carry clothes and other hard goods. I am also trying to change my mindset to sell items for more than $10 profit per  item. Nothing less than $7 any more. I want to make $15 / per hour reselling and do this 20 hours a week.  Part time I work as a school custodian. A dirty job, and some might consider reselling a 'dirty' job. I am a beginner on Ebay, but I've been selling on Depop and Mercari, I've sold on Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, and I made this channel to see if I could really make it on Ebay, and learn from others

  I am leaving Depop for Poshmark. I used to shop on Depop first before I started selling, it used to be very good for me but sales fell off for me. Over months January to now, I've only made 3 sales on Depop.  I've never liked Poshmark, even though I started one many years ago when I first learned about buying clothes online. I never drove to the mall or to the store, I also liked supporting small businesses and buying local, so that's why I shopped online so much. Except I never liked Poshmark, none of it is my style so much, all of it feels preppy compared to the artsy kid Depop.  The photos here are just a few of the clothes I had listed from way back in 2018, or 2017. It could be earlier I don't know. I focused on books and Poshmark was for clothes. Poshmark shipping still confuses me. It looks like a flat rate priority fee, Poshmark must not like wasting time.  I am only sharing listings that I am genuinely interested in, I don't want Poshmark to get confused

 The slower months are here and it is the perfect time to catch up on book keeping. I go by Belle, and I mainly sell books but I am broadening my shop to carry more items and take this from a side hustle to a full time job.  I hope to make a full time living selling books, or at least make $12 per hour. How many sales a month does that look like? At the very least, that's $200 a week. I am currently selling mostly on Mercari, but I will get an occasional sale on Depop, Pango Books, and Ebay.  Ebay is new to me and I have so much to learn. There is a bit of a learning curve for Ebay beginners. All my profit is going to my health and medical debt - I have a lot of dental work ahead of me.
