Breaking Up, Moving On, leaving Depop for Poshmark!

I am leaving Depop for Poshmark. I used to shop on Depop first before I started selling, it used to be very good for me but sales fell off for me. Over months January to now, I've only made 3 sales on Depop.

I've never liked Poshmark, even though I started one many years ago when I first learned about buying clothes online. I never drove to the mall or to the store, I also liked supporting small businesses and buying local, so that's why I shopped online so much. Except I never liked Poshmark, none of it is my style so much, all of it feels preppy compared to the artsy kid Depop.

The photos here are just a few of the clothes I had listed from way back in 2018, or 2017. It could be earlier I don't know. I focused on books and Poshmark was for clothes.

Poshmark shipping still confuses me. It looks like a flat rate priority fee, Poshmark must not like wasting time.

I am only sharing listings that I am genuinely interested in, I don't want Poshmark to get confused and show me a bunch of stuff I wouldn't wear. I have a lot of followers too, almost 2k for a deactivated account. Maybe that will be an advantage?

I listed 25 listings on Sunday, June 3rd. Let's see what happens this week! My goal is to make $200 every week. So far, from June 1-4 I've made 3 sales!

All these get shipped on Monday. I've sold the Wentworth Puzzle and getting $21.80. My COG was only .50! The Texas flag swim trunks sold, I got these for free, my profit will be $8.92. And today I got an order on Mercari for two books I got for free, and my profit will be $16.77. This means I need to make $153.

What Sold October 15-22

Could I have a week as good as last week? Going to focus on items with higher resell value and listing everything. I didn't have nearly as good a week because I did not list every day, but I did take this time to organize my inventory. I sold 4 books, turning $1 into $23.91 Rebecca I got this in a recent haul. This week I'm determined to list list list! I list new items every day. This week I sold a total of 20 books, 2 clothing items, and a photo album. I spent $11.48 and made $178.13. Lady Midnight, 13 Reasons Why Had a 15% off sale on my Depop. She paid $12.75. The PayPal fee was .67 cents. It cost $3.86 to ship. The Depop fee was 1.28. I made a total of $6.94. LuLa Roe Disney Alice in Wonderland leggings These sold 22 hours after listing them and since it was a repeat buyer I offered 10% off from $25. I really appreciate repeat buyers. This sold in the Facebook group Wonderlust Marketplace. Sold for $22.50, PayPal fee was .95, and the shipping label was $3.33. I made $18.22. 🎃👻This is the first week of October! Let's see how much I made. Sadly this was my slowest week in sales in 3 months - only 6 sales! Depop has made some changes to the app: added cropping to photos and a My DNA tab to find items you love. It's important not to give up. 3 out of 6 sales were from Mercari.
