Adding Goodies To Every Order!!

I really want to make every order stand out and show my deepest appreciation. I think my rose floral polymailers are super cute and make readers excited to see my books come in the mail. Now I want to add stickers and cute bookmarks. This is also a post about everything that goes into shipping my items. July is officially over and that marks the first chapter of Q3. These are the bookmarks I got! This was a pack of 60 for a total of $22.57. That's about 40 cents for each bookmark, I think that's totally worth it. Each order $15 and over will receive 1 bookmark.  I purchased 2 packs of stickers, each pack comes with 102 reading stickers. That's a total of 204 stickers. This cost me $21.63. That's a little over 10 cents per sticker. Every order will get 2 stickers.  Sometimes I get asked what polymailers I use. I get these 10 x 13 floral pattern polymailers in a pack of 100. Last time it cost me $23.69. That's about a quarter for each polymailer.

2021 RE-Listing Challenge: RE-List 100 Items in 2 Days

What made my listing challenge so successful? It was challenging and rewarding. my next challenge is to list all my new inventory - mine and Anna's. But before I do that, I want to try to move as much stale inventory as possible. I'm going to RE-list 100 items in 2 days - so that's 50 a day. Starting today at 3 pm and ending on Wednesday night, so i'll give myself all day Tuesday, all day Wednesday and the rest of today to RE-list 100 items. This experiment will be interesting. I honestly wonder if any of these will sell within the week of listing them. The next listing challenge I found from a website called the100bookchallenge.com. There'll be more details on that in my next post! 21/50

2021 Listing Challenge: Day 26 List 100 Items Before Sourcing

This was a really good challenge - I pushed myself to list more. I'm already thinking of another way to challenge myself - I might do a RE-listing challenge, that might prove interesting.  It took me 26 days to list 100 items from my death pile. These were books that have been sitting for months - one of my goals was to push as many books out. I also took my time - for example, yesterday I was really sick or some days I was only motivated to do one listing. I permitted myself to do that so I could get a general idea of my "normal" productivity levels.  I have very specific monetary goals to make my bookshop Hyla Brook Books my full time job. Ideally I want to be making 5 sales a day. I've been averaging 25-30 orders a month. I need to make 4x's that much. This just means I need to work 4x's harder. I'm just so glad I'm done!! I felt like this took me a long time, even if I accomplished it in under 30 days. I saw a challenge where you list 100 items in
