 spring has sprung!  I only took the books. Books make me deliariously happy. I spent $21 and some change. Let's round that up to $22 on over 20 books. Each book was 50 cents, but I can take 22 and divide it by the number of books. I got so many gorgeous classic editions.  1) remember what each item was individually 2) take the number of items you sourced and divide from the total amount 3) find one item that will pay for the entire haul Video coming soon!!  I am so disappointed I didn't go back to the Library Book Sale, I only went twice but I did find some great books. (none have sold, but I've learned to wait 30 days for a book to sale when it lists. And now, it's a pleasant surprise when the book sells faster.) I have more than a 90-day sell through rate, which is normal for books. One book that sold has been in my shop for a year, and I know I had it listed prior to that. However, I judge the listing based on the photo. For example, I know I had this particular book listed in my shop - but this particular listing, with the book on the piano, was listed a year ago. It had lots of offers, 36 likes, but I don't think I had it available on Mercari or Etsy or Ebay. Depop is extremly slow for me and because of that it is my lowest priority platform.  My goal is to have 100 books listed by the end of the day, March 5th.  I made a video for youtube and reminded myself that the main reason I started my youtube channel was to document my thrift hauls and what solds, and my declutter process. My office space is looking great, and I am a quarter of the way through the Minn Game, or the Declutter Deathpile series. That is the next video I am going to work on right away. I decided, at least until I reach 500 subs, that I don't care TOO much about the quality of my videos. I need the algoritm to know that I will post a video every 3-5 days. Once I reach that many subs, I will probably privatize most of my videos and "start from scratch" by remaking videos - this was a suggestion and I thought it wasn't a bad idea to take the original videos that arent well produced and reproduce them. Dana Findwell is a reseller on youtube who talks about how she calculated her COG's. She lists when she went sourcing, where she went sourcing, how many items were sourced, how much I spent in total, and then i can come up with my average cost of good - instead of a line by line item. i Also want to keep track of when I list an item. This way I know if it took 2 weeks or 2 days to sell.  WHAT SOLD JAN 1-2 First sale of the year was on Ebay. i purchased these books at the Hospice over two years ago.  On Etsy, one of my rare occult books sold. I got this book for free from the Free Library.  There was a New Years sale in my shop and it sold.  On Facebook Marketplace I had a local sale for a Carhartt hoodie. I made $25 cash. This was Free from the Lost and Found.  Another awesome sale on Ebay was this lot of horror books. I got these years ago and some of them were for free. It sold immediately on Ebay and i've been trying to sell them individually since October. I FINALLY listed
