Out of 100 books that were listed, these were the ones that sold for me at the time of finishing this listing challenge (July 18th Completed the Listing Challenge) I decided to look back on July, at the 100 Items Listed, and compile what sold by the end of the month in one blog post.  Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 7 Day 11 Day 19 Day 21 Day 22 Day 24 Day 26 It took me 26 days to complete the 100 Item Listing Challenge.  My COG was $6.99. My profit on these books were $109.46 . A total of 34 books out of the shop! Hopefully as the fall rolls in, more of these books will sell! I like to keep books no more than 6 months but I have held on to books for a year that eventually sold. If 18 books out of 100 sold and I made $109, how many do i need to list to make my dream goal of $800?  I like to look at it like a math problem - if only 10% of what I list sells, and that 10% makes me $$$, how many items do i need to list to make my desired monthly income?  This was a really good challenge - I pushed myself to list more. I'm already thinking of another way to challenge myself - I might do a RE-listing challenge, that might prove interesting.  It took me 26 days to list 100 items from my death pile. These were books that have been sitting for months - one of my goals was to push as many books out. I also took my time - for example, yesterday I was really sick or some days I was only motivated to do one listing. I permitted myself to do that so I could get a general idea of my "normal" productivity levels.  I have very specific monetary goals to make my bookshop Hyla Brook Books my full time job. Ideally I want to be making 5 sales a day. I've been averaging 25-30 orders a month. I need to make 4x's that much. This just means I need to work 4x's harder. I'm just so glad I'm done!!  Almost done with my challenge! I did end up going sourcing this week but it turned out to be a good thing because they had BOGO on books so I will end up with a lot of profit!!  I am also focusing on Mercari, instead of listing it first on Depop. I would've finished this challenge a week or two early if I hadn't taken my time - some days I let go by and didn't list.  Only 10 more books to list and I'll have completed my challenge. 

 I'm almost done with this challenge! Here is what I listed today, July 14th. (Wednesday) That's 8 more books added to my total - I'm at 81 out of 100 listings. Just 19 more and I can go source at my favorite spot! I really hope more books sell before Friday.

 Today July 13th, Tuesday, marks Day 21 of my listing challenge. I focused on bundles and listed 6 new items on Depop. My total is now 73 out of 100. Almost there!!
