What Sold in my bookshop October 1 - 7

🎃👻This is the first week of October! Let's see how much I made. Sadly this was my slowest week in sales in 3 months - only 6 sales! Depop has made some changes to the app: added cropping to photos and a My DNA tab to find items you love. It's important not to give up. 3 out of 6 sales were from Mercari. I sold a total of 8 books (I spent $1.50) and made $24.49.

Frontiers, Prarie Brides

Sent an offer for $7 and they accepted. The Mercari fee was .70. Shipping cost was $3.33. I made $2.97.

The Outsiders

Someone sent me an offer for $7 and I said yes. The Mercari fee was .70. Shipping cost $2.80. I made $3.50

Demi Lovato, Staying Strong

Sold for $8. The Mercari seller fee was .80 cents. Shipping cost was $2.80. I made $4.40.

Harry the Dirty Dog

This sold on Depop for $9.81. The Depop fee was .98 cents. The shipping fee was $2.80. The PayPal fee was .58 cents. I made $5.45.

Hope to Die

I made an offer for $7 the Mercari fee was .70 cents. Shipping was $3.33. I made $2.97.

Miley Cyrus Miles to Go

I was having a 15% off sale on books. This sold for $6.80 plus $3.33 to ship. The depop fee was $1.01. The PayPal fee was .59. I made $5.20.

What Sold Oct 8-14 // I turned $4.25 into $75.57

Did I do better than the week before? I barely listed any items. Days went by where I didn't list. I had sales on all 3 platforms. Maas = $7.50 Y2k denim overbust shrug / bolero asymmetrical = $40.25 $79.82 - $4.25 COG = $75.57 These are the kind of weeks I like as a hobbiest/ side hustle. $80-$200 a week is preferable. But there's a LOT of work into reselling, you should set your goals higher. $100 a day.

Listing Challenge: I listed like Daily Refinement for A Week

Daily Refinement says you can make $100 a day if you list 5 items that will make you $20 profit. I really like how he puts this into perspective, plus, this challenge motivates you to list items that are worth your time. It's October 1st, and I need to list 5 items! Already the challenge of having enough to source at that high value is evident. All my items I got for free or have been in my closet for a long time. I also want my main focus to be Ebay and Mercari. The first item I listed was this rare, vintage y2k denim overbust shrug bolero. I got this years ago when I started shopping on Poshmark for myself. Or maybe it was Vinted. I don't remember. I have this listed at $85 depop/ mercari / The second item was a pair of black leather boots, brand new they ran a little big for me but I think they would go great for cosplay as well as casual wear.
