What Sold in my Bookshop October 8 - 14

This week I'm determined to list list list! I list new items every day. This week I sold a total of 20 books, 2 clothing items, and a photo album. I spent $11.48 and made $178.13.

Lady Midnight, 13 Reasons Why
Had a 15% off sale on my Depop. She paid $12.75. The PayPal fee was .67 cents. It cost $3.86 to ship. The Depop fee was 1.28. I made a total of $6.94.

LuLa Roe Disney Alice in Wonderland leggings
These sold 22 hours after listing them and since it was a repeat buyer I offered 10% off from $25. I really appreciate repeat buyers. This sold in the Facebook group Wonderlust Marketplace. Sold for $22.50, PayPal fee was .95, and the shipping label was $3.33. I made $18.22.
Woman Who Runs w Wolves 
This sold for $20 which is a lot more than I imagined someone would pay for it. The Mercari fee was $2. Shipping was $3.33. I made $14.67. 
So far I've made $39.83. My goal is to make $300 per week. 

Frankenstein,  The Drowned Forest 
Sold on Depop for $11.01 the Depop fee was $1.11. The PayPal fee was .62 cents.Shipping was $2.80. My profit was $6.48.

The Magic Schoolbus Books
Not really a big fan of Mercari any more because I make so much less than I do on Depop. It seems like I dont make sales unless its dirt cheap. This sold for $11. The Mercari fee was $1.10. Shipping cost $2.80. I made $7.10.

Nurses Verses, Franklin 
This is a new record sale! Sold on Depop for $50.50. The depop fee $5.05. The PayPal fee was $1.76. Shipping was $2.80. I made a whopping $42.65.
Steelers Jacket
Sold on Mercari for $32. I will use PirateShip too print the shipping label, it cost $8.71. The Mercari fee was $3.20.  I made $20.09.

Titanic bundle 
This took me a long time to source as I've slowly collected them this year. I priced it at $25 plus $2.80. The Depop fee was $2.78. This is another record sale because I listed it and it sold within hours. Shipping was $3.33. Paypal fee was $1.11. I made $20.58.
Twilight and New Moon
These sell so quick I always pick them up. I charged $17 plus $3.80 to ship. The Depop fee was $2.08. The shipping was $3.86. Paypal fee was .90 cents.  I made $13.96.
Vintage Hymn music book 
Someone on Depop messaged me asking if I'd go lower on the price, so I asked her what she thought a good price was and I countered her. It sold for $12 plus $2.80 to ship. Depop fee was $1.48. Shipping was $3.33. Paypal fee was .73 cents. My profit was $9.26.

Valfrie inspired photo album
this sold on Depop for $7 plus $2.80 to ship. The Depop fee was .98 cents. The Paypal fee was .58 cents. First class shipping was $4.90. i asked if I could ship media mail and she declined. My profit was $3.34.

 Legends of the West
sold on Mercari for $9. The Mercari fee was .90. Shipping cost $3.33. My profit was $4.77.

 

 
One For Kitten Kim 
Sold on Mercari for $10. (Def worth more imo.) The Mercari fee was $1. Shipping cost $2.80. My profit was $6.20.

 
 
The Best Halloween Hunt Ever 
Sold on Mercari for $8. The Mercari fee was .80. i was also charged a processig fee of .53 which i'm confused why. After reviewing my past receipts on Mercari, none of them charged a processing fee. That's suspish. Shipping was $2.80. My profit was $3.87.
    
 


This was a new record in sales!!
 I said someday I would have 15 orders in one week and I had 14!!! 
I also made my money back from the Estate Sale that I went to last week from just two books that sold - Nurses Verses and Vintage Hymnn book.

 How much did I make in July? It's August 2nd and I'm taking a look back at my accomplishments.  What Sold July 1-7 What Sold July 8-14 What Sold July 15-21 What Sold July 22-31 I made $235.54 selling books. I did my first ever listing challenge and I want to do another one - stricker dead line.  List 100 Items in 13 Days. That's half the time it took to do the original challenge. 13 is also the date I was born. A Baker's Dozen. Perfect! When I told Joe at the Post Office I wanted to make $1k or $800 a month he blew a tire and looked skeptical, and he kinda laughed. We both did. Is it such a crazy idea that I deserve this? That at the end of everything, I'll be the owner of a secondhand bookshop. Some cool things I added to my shop: Magic The Gathering Cards, skirts, I opened my Ebay store and added items but haven't completed the set up.  Also, my new goal is to make $100 each week by pursuing sales. What Sold July 1-7

 These weekly What Sold posts kept me organized, so I'm bringing them back. I review what items sold on each platform, how much it sold, the fees, and what my profit was. Every month I have the same goal to make $350, but my dream goal is to make $800 per month just by selling books. I currently sell on Depop, Mercari, Instagram, Etsy, and various Facebook groups. Depop has been incredibly slow - I have not made any July sales yet. In June I had 4 orders, in May I had 3, in April I had 6 orders, 7 orders in March, 9 in February, and 7 in January. That gives you an idea how many orders come through Depop and why it's important to cross list. I think I have more sales on Mercari. The Summer Slowdown is here! Selling on Ebay for Beginners - Pt. 1

 I am brand new to selling on Ebay, I avoided it because I personally felt that the interface felt outdated, I never buy anything on Ebay, and Ebay seems intimidating . On the other platforms I sell on, it is so easy and fast to list. When I listed my first item, it felt like I was filing out paperwork at a doctor's office. It's going to take some time to get used to Ebay's layout, a newcomer can't navigate the Seller's Hub so quickly. It's free to register. Ebay will send an amount to your bank you have to confirm to receive payments. When you first start out, you can only list 10 items per month, this renews every 90.
