Work with Me: Late Night Shift

It's imperative I make as much as I can in November and December. I'm using Depop, Mercari, Instagram, and Facebook groups. I should use Etsy but I find the fees too much and I'd like to keep my prices affordable.

It is 10:19 PM as of writing this, and I'm updating all my listings to included #saletime. My strategy is to bump my listings until a sale occurs. The best hours are after 5pm to midnight. I haven't listed anything new this week. I'll be choosing 5 books I think will sell quickly. (5 instead of 10 b/c my hand feels bruised)

i'm very tired. it was a bad thanksgiving start, one for the books. i'm glad I can end it on a good note.

I went ahead and listed books I got for free with the intention that they would sell quick and cheap. I like to offer customers a wide range of budget options. Then I posted what I call a "teaser post". The above books I'll post tomorow.

I also did not intentionly pick the books out for the color. I chose books that I thought could make me a good profit - they are all vintage books.

Tomorrow I'll do a post on how I price my books. I need to do some research. I'll browse online for the exact copy and lots of times I don't find it. I look at publishing date and material. shelf wear. how popular is the book. cover art. Some books have style - which I'll get into in my next blog post.

End of Month Reseller Report - July 2021

How much did I make in July? It's August 2nd and I'm taking a look back at my accomplishments. What Sold July 1-7 What Sold July 8-14 What Sold July 15-21 What Sold July 22-31 I made $235.54 selling books. I did my first ever listing challenge and I want to do another one - stricker dead line. List 100 Items in 13 Days. That's half the time it took to do the original challenge. 13 is also the date I was born. A Baker's Dozen. Perfect! When I told Joe at the Post Office I wanted to make $1k or $800 a month he blew a tire and looked skeptical, and he kinda laughed. We both did. Is it such a crazy idea that I deserve this? What Sold July 1-7

These weekly What Sold posts kept me organized, so I'm bringing them back. I review what items sold on each platform, how much it sold, the fees, and what my profit was. Every month I have the same goal to make $350, but my dream goal is to make $800 per month just by selling books. I currently sell on Depop, Mercari, Instagram, Etsy, and various Facebook groups. Depop has been incredibly slow - I have not made any July sales yet. In June I had 4 orders, in May I had 3, in April I had 6 orders, 7 orders in March, 9 in February, and 7 in January. Selling on Ebay for Beginners - Pt. 1

I am brand new to selling on Ebay, I avoided it because I personally felt that the interface felt outdated, I never buy anything on Ebay, and Ebay seems intimidating . On the other platforms I sell on, it is so easy and fast to list. When I listed my first item, it felt like I was filing out paperwork at a doctor's office. It's going to take some time to get used to Ebay's layout, a newcomer can't navigate the Seller's Hub so quickly. It's free to register. Ebay will send an amount to your bank you have to confirm to receive payments. When you first start out, you can only list 10 items per month, this renews every 90.
