What Sold December 1-7

My goal is to make a sale every day this week. My other motivation is my disease.  I miss crochet so much but I'm too busy selling books.

Sold on Mercari I accepted the offer for $7. The Mercari fees were 70 and 50 cents. Shipping cost $2.80. My profit was $3.

Sold in a Facebook group called Wonderlust for $8 shipped. The PayPal fee was .53 cents. Shipping cost $2.80. My profit was $4.67.
Edgar Allen Poe
Sold in a Facebook group. Cottagecore for the Working Poor. $12 shipped. The PayPal fee was .65 cents. Shipping costs $3.33. My profit was $8.02. 
One of the things I did on Etsy was go to my deactivate listings and use those on different books considering I already paid the 20 cents to list. I put all my Christmas books up! And I made a sale on Etsy.

She paid $6.40 and $2.80 shipping the total being $9.20. After fees Etsy deposited $7.41. It cost $2.80. My profit then was $4.61.

This set sold on Instagram for a total of $35. The PayPal fee was $1.32. Shipping was $3.33. My profit was $30.35.




 
Star Wars set of 4 comics
Offered to include another because I wanted my money back on these. Anthony spent way too much per comic. Sold for $20 plus $3.50 shipping. Also this was one of the items I relisted. I had to buy a mailer for $1.89. Shipping was $2.80. Depop fee was $2.35. PayPal fee was .98.  My profit was $15.48.  I just made my money back on these.

Sold on Depop for $10.46. The depop fee was $1.05. PayPal fee was .60 cents. Shipping cost $2.80. My profit was $6.01.
Mrs. Dalloway 
Sold on Depop for $7 plus $2.80 shipping. The Depop fee costs .98 cents. The PayPal fee .58 cents. My profit was $5.44.

Water for Elephants
Sold on Depop for $7.50 plus $4 shipping. Depop fee was $1.15.  PayPal fee was .63 cents. My profit was $6.92. 

Festival Books, Ghandi 
Sold on Instagram to a repeat buyer for a total of $22. The PayPal fee was .94. The shipping cost $3.86. My profit was $17.20. 
Top Secret Restaurant Recipes
Sold on Mercari. I had it listed for $10 and someone made an offer for $8 and I accept. The Mercari fee was .80 cents and .53 cents. this book sold very fast! I listed it just a few hours ago. Shipping costs $2.80. My profit was $3.87.

Outlander

had this in my shop for a while. it sold for $10 on Mercari.  Mercari fee was $1 and .59 cents. Shipping costs $3.33 my profit was $5.08.

Goodwill Resell for Profit - Did I Make My Money Back?

    On May 5th I went to Goodwill and purchased books to resell in my secondhand bookshop. I spent a total of $24.67 at Goodwill, but $2 was for personal use. I have already made my money back on these books!        I want to take a look at the sales that came through so far, now everything else in my Goodwill haul that sells will be 100% profit. I also wrote in my previous blog post that I hoped to make my money by the 20th, and it's the 22nd.  The first sale was this Rainbow Brite , like new, book. I listed it for $13 and someone made an offer for $10 within 24 hours of listing. My COG was .99, the selling fee was 1.00 and the processing fee was .91. $8.09 was deposited into my Mercari account. After COG, my profit was $7.10. I am trying to make my money back as fast as possible with this Goodwill experiment. What Sold January 15-21 (My First Week Back!) I turned .25 cents into $13.49!

 I can't believe that the same week I started listing I got sales!! There were three occasions, all sunny afternoons at the end of January between 3 pm and 5pm, right before it got too dark to take pictures. I took photos of all new inventory and chose Pango Books and Mercari to start listing.  There has been a lot of promotions on my Facebook page, the social media platform I spend most of my time on. I joined some facebook groups for resellers. I decided on my next paycheck, I wanted to buy my domain. This side hustle was my dream job, maybe being a teacher feels out of reach. But I've always wanted to be a writer. A bookseller, being my own business owner, maybe. Just maybe that's what I can do!  My reselling goal is to make what I made at my survival job. (I got paid $12/hour and worked 16 hours a week. Some weeks I worked 22 hours.) I'll be satisfied if I make any where between $80- $170. I listed a total of ___ books to each platform, and a total of 3 books sold.
