2021 Listing Challenge : Day 3 List 100 Items before Sourcing

I'm trying to stay motivated.

I constantly look at how many listings other Etsy shops have - especially book shops. Right now I have 76 listings on Etsy.

Listing a bunch on Depop has caused me to lose a lot of followers, I noticed.

I will try to take new photos for Depop, and casually cross list to Mercari throughout the night. I decided to tackle the cross listing in shifts, I used to try to do it one after the other. (example, list on depop, then that same item on Mercari.) Then what I started to do was list on my Instagram Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This was already proving to be a lot but i liked the schedule.

Naturally, I post to Depop the day before - so Monday's, Sunday's. I usually post on Friday's to Depop too.

I can't afford any cross listing bot anyways. But if I can just increase my sales by just a little, I might be able to later afford one.

Instagram - Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays

Depop - Mondays

Mercari - Mondays

Facebook groups - Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays

Not a whole lot, but I feel like Saturday I'll be able to post a lot more. In 7 days we will have the #letfreedomringbooksale so really hoping to have a few sales to wrap of June with. I also found out after comping Alice in Wonderland I sold it for way to low ($12 Free Shipping) when Thriftbooks had the same copy, 1 left, for $44. Mine did have a water stain that I didnt know which is one reason I dramatically slashed the price, but the stain is on the dust jacket, not even the book. At least I made someone's day with this very amazing book.

What Sold August 15-21 I turned .50 cents into $54.44!

This book sold within a month of listing, The Goldfinch. I recently relisted this week too, for $4.50 + $3.99 shipping. (Before I relisted this book, it was $9 shipped. This works out much much better, and it encourages my shoppers to bundle books). The Depop fee was .85. The Paypal fee was .80. Shipping costs was $3.45. My COG was .25. My profit $4.75 Cool so I had two sales on Depop in the same week, that's the most activity I've seen on that app in a while. This sold in a bundle - Pride and Predjuce ($10) and a book Shakespeare ($20) The Depop fee was $3. The payment fee was $1.24. Shipping cost was $3.45. My COG was .25. What Sold in my Bookshop October 8 - 14

This week I'm determined to list list list! I list new items every day. This week I sold a total of 20 books, 2 clothing items, and a photo album. I spent $11.48 and made $178.13. Lady Midnight, 13 Reasons Why Had a 15% off sale on my Depop. She paid $12.75. The PayPal fee was .67 cents. It cost $3.86 to ship. The Depop fee was 1.28. I made a total of $6.94. LuLa Roe Disney Alice in Wonderland leggings These sold 22 hours after listing them and since it was a repeat buyer I offered 10% off from $25. I really appreciate repeat buyers. This sold in the Facebook group Wonderlust Marketplace. Sold for $22.50, PayPal fee was .95, and the shipping label was $3.33. I made $18.22. Woman Who Runs w Wolves This sold for $20 which is a lot more than I imagined someone would pay for it. The Mercari fee was $2. Shipping was $3.33. I made $14.67. So far I've made $39.83.
