Thrift with Me! - I spent $3.75 on these forgotten masterpieces!!

All I had was the change in my purse and since I had walked all the way to the Post Office, I decided to walk the distance to my honey pot, the Hospice. Which is becoming more and more less of a secret.

I gifted Alexander The Final Cut to Anthony because it is his favorite movie. There's 45 minutes of unseen footage for him.

The shelves again were empty of books, so i picked up Trump Surviving at the Top to add to my other Art of the Deal to hopefully sell as a bundle. Before the elections, Trump was a liked guy. On Oprah, in rap songs, and even made an appearance on Home Alone.

Let It Go" is Avril Lavignes first album and my pre teen years on a disc. The case is a little scratched up, but the CD looked in great condition. I haven't put my CD's up for sell yet since I want to test them first.

The Scooby-Doo Storybook Collection is too perfect. I will put it together with a Scooby Doo plush toy and list right away. It only has a name in the front and has all clean pages. Love Scoob!!

Of course I picked up Rooster's Off to the See the World, since Eric Carle passed away this year in May at 91 years old, and now everyone is after his books even more so.

Inch by Inch is by Leo with the same collage art style, so I might throw that in with a bundle.

Now for the forgotten masterpiece!!

*que Dreamworks "Deliver Us"

I could not let go of The Prince of Egypt which was my best find because it's going for some money on Amazon and Ebay. The soundtrack is badass, I still listen to songs like "Deliver Us" "When You Believe" "All I Ever Wanted" and "Through Heaven's Eyes" When i was a kid, we saw this movie on the big screen and it was groundmaking, like with the scene when Moses parts the Red Sea. This is also at a time when 3d animation is being played with, and you can see that in some parts, it's done very well. Honestly one of the best animated classics the last 20 years has seen for sure.

I'm getting better at being more selective of what I purchase to resell, especially since I still have a lot. Today is the first day I'm feeling better from this terrible toothache that I've had since Friday. It's Wednesday!

End of the Month Reseller Report // January 2023

I am a part time reseller on Mercari, Pango Books, and Ebay. I flip books online, I love having an online bookstore. Here is a break down of my January sales. This was my first month back reselling! I am hosting a giveaway to welcome back all my readers over on my Facebook page where I am giving away 12 vintage true crime novels. I also wanted to celebrate by doing a fundraiser to raise money and awareness for my favorite cat rescue.  My Cost of Goods were .25! I didn't have to pay anything in shipping, here's a small break down of the platform fees: Mercari:  -$3.56 Pango Books:   -.79 Ebay:   $-1.31 Overall, I had a total of 7 transactions. A total of 9 books left the shop! 3 on Mercari 1 on Pango Books and 1 on Ebay. I also had 2 transactions on Paypal. (100% of the profits went to the rescue.) My goal is consistent sales, I ended up listing only 37 books in the month of January. More listings equals more sales!!  My net profit was $17.28, BUT I di...

When Your Best Friend Pulls Out A Yearbook 2010

It's so crazy to look back at myself more than 10 years ago - my skinny jeans, converse wearing, side swept bangs and puka shell necklace self. I just noticed my legs are crossed in both photos. John Earl had a mega crush on me, and we were Literary sweethearts and he even bought me my first typewriter : a vintage Royal typewriter with a locking case.  He ended up marrying a very pretty girl and he seems like the perfect husband.  I was in Literacy Circle (a club for readers) all years in highschool and worked as a media assistant those years too.  Funny how I'm looking at this photograph, 10 years later, selling books.

End of Month Reseller Report - July 2021

How much did I make in July? It's August 2nd and I'm taking a look back at my accomplishments.  What Sold July 1-7 What Sold July 8-14 What Sold July 15-21 What Sold July 22-31 I made $235.54 selling books. I did my first ever listing challenge and I want to do another one - stricker dead line.  List 100 Items in 13 Days. That's half the time it took to do the original challenge. 13 is also the date I was born. A Baker's Dozen. Perfect! When I told Joe at the Post Office I wanted to make $1k or $800 a month he blew a tire and looked skeptical, and he kinda laughed. We both did. Is it such a crazy idea that I deserve this? That at the end of everything, I'll be the owner of a secondhand bookshop. Some cool things I added to my shop: Magic The Gathering Cards, skirts, I opened my Ebay store and added items but haven't completed the set up.  Also, my new goal is to make $100 each week by pursuing sales. Offering to likers on Depop which i never do - posting more i...
