Thrift w Me! I spend $7.31 on inventory to resell in my bookshop!



 I am so grateful I had today off from my new job. It's inspired me more to focus on my business. I really need to list! I couldn't help but go out and thrift, it's the one thing I look forward to every week so I'm not too hard on myself. I was lucky, clothes were .25 cents!! I think I found some cute things I can flip.

I got 3 tops: a black ruffle dress (feels super gothic lolita, emo Y2k), a fairycore reinsanssance top with this trippy design, lace, ruffles, this is super cute, and a No Boundries top that's super cute but perfect for Halloween - it has skulls and roses. 

Next I did get some books of course! I noticed they had restocked some shelves!!

Edit: The skull and rose print shirt sold on Mercari! I spent $17 thrifting this week, so the profits from that sale went to paying off what I thrifted.

End of Month Reseller Report - July 2021

 How much did I make in July? It's August 2nd and I'm taking a look back at my accomplishments.  What Sold July 1-7 What Sold July 8-14 What Sold July 15-21 What Sold July 22-31 I made $235.54 selling books. I did my first ever listing challenge and I want to do another one - stricker dead line.  List 100 Items in 13 Days. That's half the time it took to do the original challenge. 13 is also the date I was born. A Baker's Dozen. Perfect! When I told Joe at the Post Office I wanted to make $1k or $800 a month he blew a tire and looked skeptical, and he kinda laughed. We both did. Is it such a crazy idea that I deserve this? That at the end of everything, I'll be the owner of a secondhand bookshop. What Sold July 1-7

 These weekly What Sold posts kept me organized, so I'm bringing them back. I review what items sold on each platform, how much it sold, the fees, and what my profit was. Every month I have the same goal to make $350, but my dream goal is to make $800 per month just by selling books. I currently sell on Depop, Mercari, Instagram, Etsy, and various Facebook groups. Depop has been incredibly slow - I have not made any July sales yet. In June I had 4 orders, in May I had 3, in April I had 6 orders, 7 orders in March, 9 in February, and 7 in January. That gives you an idea how many orders come through Depop and why it's important to cross list. I think I have more sales on Mercari. The Summer Slowdown is here! I haven't made any sales yet on Mercari in July. Selling on Ebay for Beginners - Pt. 1

 I am brand new to selling on Ebay, I avoided it because I personally felt that the interface felt outdated, I never buy anything on Ebay, and Ebay seems intimidating . On the other platforms I sell on, it is so easy and fast to list. When I listed my first item, it felt like I was filing out paperwork at a doctor's office. It's going to take some time to get used to Ebay's layout, a newcomer can't navigate the Seller's Hub so quickly. It's free to register. Ebay will send an amount to your bank you have to confirm to receive payments. When you first start out, you can only list 10 items per month, this renews every 90.
