 Almost done with my challenge! I did end up going sourcing this week but it turned out to be a good thing because they had BOGO on books so I will end up with a lot of profit!!  I am also focusing on Mercari, instead of listing it first on Depop. I would've finished this challenge a week or two early if I hadn't taken my time - some days I let go by and didn't list.  Only 10 more books to list and I'll have completed my challenge. 

 Can't beat free - for every book, I get one free and that's 100% profit. I did go again to the thrift store with Anthony's help. These are all currently unlisted, Friday July 16. When I start listing them I'll notate the date, and then notate when it sold to figure out how long it takes for me to make my money back!! I got 24 books - half of them were free!! I spent $3 on all the books. Anthony also found a CSS grade skateboard in near mint condition. I'm so happy he has a ride to work now! I really need to get a car.   So many books! Prices according to Thriftbooks + Amazon! Picked these up thursday, July 15th. I'll notate when the book gets listed! Itll be fun to see how long it takes to make a profit.  I got 48 books! Half of these were free. It was Buy One Get One Free. Feeling discourged? It's the middle of the summer and my sales have slowed almost to a complete stop. I sell books on Depop, Mercari, Instagram, and Facebook,  my bookshop is Hyla Brook Books. I found myself relistening to my own podcast to remember my advice; I've listed 100 items over the last 22 days and only 10% sold. But think of it this way - I'm setting up my shop for success for the fall. 1. Let go of Stale Inventory & Write Mid Year Review 2. Use holidays, join other sellers in themed sales, look at previously sold items 3. Engage on Social Media, build connections, ask for feedback,  4. Educate yourself/ level up

 I'm almost done with this challenge! Here is what I listed today, July 14th. (Wednesday) That's 8 more books added to my total - I'm at 81 out of 100 listings. Just 19 more and I can go source at my favorite spot! I really hope more books sell before Friday.
