 I will be focusing on creating youtube videos for my bookshop. I thought about creating a new Youtube channel for Belle Resells, but I thought it would be less confusing if I kept it all in one place on my already established channel, Hyla Brook Books.  I only have 46 subscribers anyways, but my goal is to get 100 subscribers by the end of April.  One of my video ideas is to share what books I sold on Mercari to raise money for my glasses that I desperately needed. I have only done half of the video so far, when I pick up my glasses and dye my hair I will finish that video and post it here.  I turned 9 books into new glasses! In case you don't want to watch the video, here is a photo dump of the books that sold. I turned 9 books into $56! And my writing friend generously donated $100 to help me buy my glasses.

 My bookshop was able to raise $50! That's twice as much as last month! (See last month's fundraiser here in this blog post.) It was all one order, the buyer purchased 6 books in total.   The Cat Who Couldnt See in the Dark $4.95 The Cat and the Curmudgeon $4.95 Kitten in the Cold $3.50 The Cat Who Came for Christmas $4.95 Animals and Why they Matter $20 Little Girl in a Red Dress with a Cat and Dog $2.95 I charged $7.99 to cover for shipping and handling. In total, her book order came out to $49.29.  The Paypa fee was $2.21. That left a net amount of $47.08. Shipping came out to  $5.75. That left $41.33 to be donated to Nine Chances Rescue. I rounded that up to $50!   I'm so very thankful, I run this small bookshop because I am disabled and dont have the money myself, but I've found a way to make a difference! I am so appreciative of everyone supporting my bookshop and a huge thank you to Lindsey over at Nine Chances Rescue. 

 It has been a week since I started my personal listing challenge. I did not list 100 items, but I'm proud that I managed 22. That's 22% . My new goal: how many days will it take me to list the rest to reach 100?  It took me a week to list 22 items , can I finish the rest within 3 days? A weekend?

 Its not an exaggeration. I've been on the verge of tears since Friday when my computer got the blue screen of death. I am feeling like I'm pushing a boulder up a hill. Lincoln in the Bardo  January was difficult on my mental health and life threw a lot my way, I'm not entirely mad that I haven't gotten close to 100. Theres still 2 days to list!

I wanted to challenge myself to list 100 items in one week. I wish Day 2 didn't count because it is technically Day 3.  From that morning, my day was off. My goal for this Listing Challenge is to list 100 items on every platform I sell on. At first, my goal was 200 items in one week, but that felt unattainable since I'm still getting used to my flow.  I am aiming for 25 listings every day. I am a part time reseller on Mercari, Pango Books, and Ebay. I flip books online, I love having an online bookstore. Here is a break down of my January sales. This was my first month back reselling! I am hosting a giveaway to welcome back all my readers over on my Facebook page where I am giving away 12 vintage true crime novels. I also wanted to celebrate by doing a fundraiser to raise money and awareness for my favorite cat rescue.  My Cost of Goods were .25! I didn't have to pay anything in shipping, here's a small break down of the platform fees: Mercari:  -$3.56 Pango Books:   -.79 Ebay:   $-1.31 Overall, I had a total of 7 transactions. A total of 9 books left the shop! 3 on Mercari 1 on Pango Books and 1 on Ebay. I also had 2 transactions on Paypal. (100% of the profits went to the rescue.)
