Flash Fundraiser! Selling Used Books For a Cat Rescue

My bookshop was able to raise $50! That's twice as much as last month! (See last month's fundraiser here in this blog post.) It was all one order, the buyer purchased 6 books in total.

The Cat Who Couldnt See in the Dark $4.95

The Cat and the Curmudgeon $4.95

Kitten in the Cold $3.50

The Cat Who Came for Christmas $4.95

Animals and Why they Matter $20

Little Girl in a Red Dress with a Cat and Dog $2.95

I charged $7.99 to cover for shipping and handling. In total, her book order came out to $49.29.

The Paypa fee was $2.21. That left a net amount of $47.08.

Shipping came out to  $5.75.

That left $41.33 to be donated to Nine Chances Rescue. I rounded that up to $50!

I'm so very thankful, I run this small bookshop because I am disabled and dont have the money myself, but I've found a way to make a difference! I am so appreciative of everyone supporting my bookshop and a huge thank you to Lindsey over at Nine Chances Rescue.

Listing Challenge: I listed like Daily Refinement for A Week

Daily Refinement says you can make $100 a day if you list 5 items that will make you $20 profit. I really like how he puts this into perspective, plus, this challenge motivates you to list items that are worth your time. It's October 1st, and I need to list 5 items! Already the challenge of having enough to source at that high value is evident. All my items I got for free or have been in my closet for a long time. I also want my main focus to be Ebay and Mercari.  The first item I listed was this rare, vintage y2k denim overbust shrug bolero. I got this years ago when I started shopping on Poshmark for myself. Or maybe it was Vinted. I don't remember. I have this listed at $85 depop/ mercari /  The second item was a pair of black leather boots, brand new they ran a little big for me but I think they would go great for cosplay as well as casual wear.  I have these priced at $55. depop / mercari / ebay  Next was a pair of Nautica jeans. Not sure how well this siz...
