Thrift with Me! I spent $17.85 on books to resell in my bookshop!

I could not stop myself from walking down a new road on a morning that smelled like Fall. I was a few minutes early to the Hospice. They had all fall and winter items. I told myself I wouldn't spend too much and I do feel like I need to work on my overspending. Tell myself not to buy myself anything, everything that is purchased is for resell.

I added 13 books to my inventory. That's 13 books I need to list this week!!!

For $4 I bought this elegant glass chess set.

For $4 I purchased this Planetarium, nightlight, it works. I just loved the space shuttle.

For myself, I spent .50 cents on an apple picture. I want my kitchen to be apple themed.

To smell like cinammon in the kithcen.

I believe this was $3, a rainbow tye die pajamas. They are missing the dtawstring. Tempted to keep for myself NGL. I'm obsessed with tie dye atm and i never thought i would, it's really trending this year.

End of Month Reseller Report - July 2021

How much did I make in July? It's August 2nd and I'm taking a look back at my accomplishments. What Sold July 1-7 What Sold July 8-14 What Sold July 15-21 What Sold July 22-31 I made $235.54 selling books. I did my first ever listing challenge and I want to do another one - stricker dead line. List 100 Items in 13 Days. That's half the time it took to do the original challenge. 13 is also the date I was born. A Baker's Dozen. Perfect! When I told Joe at the Post Office I wanted to make $1k or $800 a month he blew a tire and looked skeptical, and he kinda laughed. We both did. Is it such a crazy idea that I deserve this? That at the end of everything, I'll be the owner of a secondhand bookshop. What Sold July 1-7

These weekly What Sold posts kept me organized, so I'm bringing them back. I review what items sold on each platform, how much it sold, the fees, and what my profit was. Every month I have the same goal to make $350, but my dream goal is to make $800 per month just by selling books. I currently sell on Depop, Mercari, Instagram, Etsy, and various Facebook groups. Depop has been incredibly slow - I have not made any July sales yet. In June I had 4 orders, in May I had 3, in April I had 6 orders, 7 orders in March, 9 in February, and 7 in January. That gives you an idea how many orders come through Depop and why it's important to cross list. I think I have more sales on Mercari. The Summer Slowdown is here! Selling on Ebay for Beginners - Pt. 1

I am brand new to selling on Ebay, I avoided it because I personally felt that the interface felt outdated, I never buy anything on Ebay, and Ebay seems intimidating . On the other platforms I sell on, it is so easy and fast to list. When I listed my first item, it felt like I was filing out paperwork at a doctor's office. It's going to take some time to get used to Ebay's layout, a newcomer can't navigate the Seller's Hub so quickly. It's free to register. Ebay will send an amount to your bank you have to confirm to receive payments. When you first start out, you can only list 10 items per month, this renews every 90.
